Bouke Bosch

Consultant at ITC Groep

Bouke works for the ITC Groups as a technical plan writer. He is also the team leader of the Design Department. Because of this dual role, his work is very varied. He enjoys this diversity. One day he may be brainstorming with a customer about the content of a plan and the next day he is putting the pieces together for a specific time plan or implementation phase. Every day, he is confronted with new challenges. That keeps the work interesting.

In addition to working, Bouke likes to be creative. He keeps himself busy cooking and doing DIY projects at home. He played football for many years and recently started a 7-against-7 team with some colleagues at ITC. We face off against other teams once a week. Bouke also likes to have a good time in the city with some friends or colleagues.

What is your favourite project of all the projects you have done so far?
I’ve done so many projects. One of the most amazing projects I have worked on in recent years is the Barten Bridge in Den Bosch. This was a Design and Construct Project for which we had to supply a bridge design as well. I had the honour of creating this design and making it available digitally. Furthermore, I was responsible for communicating with the manufacturer who did the calculations for the design.

Why did you decide to start working for the ITC Group?
My father spent most of his life working in the construction sector. This led to several renovations in our home, during which I was happily drumming away on drums I created out of empty cement buckets. Sitting behind my drums, I was fascinated to see how my father supervised the entire construction process and solved various problems using creative, out-of-the-box solutions. These moments have motivated me to constantly be on the look-out for creative solutions to complex problems and helped me to offer advice on construction projects. The ITC Group offers a wide range of projects and a pleasant, energetic atmosphere
