Reconstruction De Kanis
Last year, we wrote the winning tender for the Bunnik Group for the De Kanis Reconstruction project. De Kanis is a village of 140 houses, which will be reconstructed. The streets in the village will be under construction to install a floating concrete slab. This has a lot of impact on the daily lives of the inhabitants. Specifically for this reason, the municipality of Woerden has requested ‘Environment management’ as one of the MEAT elements of the tender. Together with the Bunnik Group, we identified potential obstacles and came up with appropriate measures to reduce or eliminate them. One of our environment managers was thinking along with us.
After winning the tender, she became part of the project team at the Bunnik Group. Within the project team, she takes care of license applications and the coordination and communication with relevant stakeholders. This project is currently in the preparation phase, during which the contractor and the client’s project team together form a construction team. The construction team meets every week to ensure that this complex project will be carried out as soon as possible.
